Preference list builder

Waypoint

Students leave honest ratings. You tell it where you live. Waypoint blends the two into one ordered list — so your preference list isn't just "nearest first" or "best-rated first," but the balance that's actually right for you.

How the score works

Each school's average rating (0–10) and its distance from you are both rescaled to a 0–10 track, where the closest school on your list scores 10 for proximity and the farthest scores 0. The slider sets how the two tracks are weighted and combined — e.g. at 60% rating / 40% distance, score = rating × 0.6 + proximity × 0.4. The list is then sorted by that score, highest first.
